Since its establishment, Energy Market JSC has been actively trading electricity on international markets, with a strong focus on Central and Eastern Europe. The company is engaged in the import and export of electricity across international markets through various platforms and energy exchanges operating on bilateral trading principles, as well as through coordinated capacity auctions (cross-border electricity trading).

The company trades both base-load and peak-load energy under daily, weekly, monthly, and annual contracts. Day-ahead transactions are executed on the so-called “day-ahead market,” where the buyer and seller agree on the traded electricity volume one day prior to delivery.
