Energy Market JSC
an active participant in the electricity market in Bulgaria since 2005. The company holds License No. L-194-15/28.11.2005 for “electricity trading”, as well as licenses for “coordinator of a standard balancing group” and a combined balancing group. The license is valid until November 28, 2025.

Since 2013, Energy Market JSC has been a coordinator of a standard balancing group, providing its clients with forecasting and optimization of electricity costs while assuming responsibility for their balancing.
Since 2014, Energy Market JSC has also been a coordinator of a combined balancing group, offering the inclusion of electricity producers from renewable energy sources (RES) and high-efficiency cogeneration (HEC). Over 14 years of market presence, Energy Market JSC has earned the trust of approximately 2,000 clients and partners in Bulgaria and abroad.

Guarantees of Origin
Green Certificates
Opportunity to transfer “green certificates” (“Guarantees of Origin”) for part of the supplied electricity quantity – effective from July 1, 2018. This is an option utilized by customers who follow the principles of corporate social responsibility.

Environmental
Becomes part of the solution to pollution. Renewable energy generation does not emit harmful pollutants into the air, water, or soil, and does not require the extraction of fossil fuels.
Employment
Supports the creation of job opportunities in the green energy sector. A typical example is biogas production, which enables electricity generation. Such cogeneration facilities are used by companies like Sofia Water, and in practice, any water utility company can reduce its costs by utilizing recovered energy resources. Additionally, biogas production in rural areas, using animal and plant waste, provides a practical solution for improving living standards outside urban areas and creating local employment.
Balance
Supports the balance of payments by utilizing local green electricity, thereby reducing the need for importing primary energy resources for conventional power plants, such as natural gas, coal, and nuclear fuel.
RES
Guarantee of Origin
The origin of electrical energy is certified by the Sustainable Energy Development Agency (SEDA), which issues Guarantees of Origin in accordance with the Renewable Energy Act. A “Guarantee of Origin” is an electronic document that serves as proof to the end consumer (buyer for own use) that a certain share or quantity of the supplied energy has been produced from renewable sources.

Implementation and Maintenance of an Energy Management System
The Energy Management System (EMS) is implemented to measure and optimize energy flows related to the client’s facilities. The system includes the installation of metering devices that provide continuous information on electricity consumption.
