Since its establishment, Energy Market JSC has been trading electricity on international markets, focusing on the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The company focuses on the import and export of electricity on international markets via different platforms, energy exchanges operating on the principle of bilateral trade, as well as by conducting coordinated tenders for capacity (electricity across borders).

The company trades in base and peak energy on the basis of daily, weekly, monthly and annual contracts. Daily transactions are carried out on the so-called "day-ahead market", where the seller and the buyer agree on the amount of electricity traded the day before the purchase and sale.
